Bentonites (Smectites) are the favored health clays

Smectites (Bentonites) comprise 99% of all clays used for health purposes today. It is the favored clay for health and dietary use as well as for many industrial applications. This is because Smectites are more complicated clays having a higher Cation Exchange Capacity (CEC), a larger surface area and are considered expanding clays.

Bentonite clay has two sources of negative charge

Bentonite Clay particles contain two sources of negative charge, permanent and variable. Permanent charge is located within the structure of the clay particles- absorption. Variable charge is located on the edges of clay particles - adsorption.

You can add clay to anything you like

Did you know that you can add Liquid Clay to anything you like? If you can't seem to make yourself drink it straight (some of you have trouble getting past the thought of drinking dirt) then add it to whatever you like - coffee, tea, juice, smoothies, applesauce, yogurt, ANYTHING. Just get it in you and let it work its magic. :)
