The Benefits of Bentonite Clay Baths

Bentonite clay baths have the amazing ability to draw cleanse the skin and draw out toxins and impurities. They are also amazing for soaking overworked sore muscles.

For best results, you should immerse yourself for 15-20 minutes in a tub of very warm water with a very pure bentonite clay. It is vital to use clean, natural clay. Of course, we recommend the Living Clay(r) brand! It's what we use ourselves in our home on a weekly basis. 

Bentonite clay has the incredible effect of stimulating the lymphatic system, and the more clay that is used in the bath, the more powerful the response. It's one of the best, safest, gentlest detoxing tools available. 

An easy way to use the clay in a clay bath is to mix it ahead of time with a blender. Put some water in your blender, then add 1-2 cups of clay powder and then add more water to within an inch of the top of the blender. Mix it until smooth, and then pour the liquified clay into your warm bath water. Be sure to wash your blender immediately, because the clay will cause the metal blender blades to oxidize and corrode if left in contact for very long.

During your 15-20 minute clay bath, be sure to stay hydrated by drinking cool water. After your bath, run water to rinse the clay out of your tub. Some people report that using the clay bath water on their plants has produced beautiful results in their gardens!
